Tina Fey's Awards
Tina Fey has garnered a large number of accolades throughout her career. Fey's popular tv show "30 Rock" has been a critical success winning numerous major awards as well as achieving the top ranking on a multitude of critics' best of 2006 and 2007 lists. Her accolades include a Peabody Award, the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Comedy Series, the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series and the Producers Guild of America Award for Producer of the Year. Tina Fey was also nominated alongside Alec Baldwin in the Outstanding Lead Actress/Actor in a comedy series. The 30 Show received four Creative Arts Emmy Awards. In 2008, the show was nominated for Best Television Series. That year, Fey earned the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a TV series.
2005 would bring Tina a People's Choice Award nomination for Favorite Funny Female Star. That same year Tina was nominated in the WGA Award for Best Adapted Screenplay - Mean Girls (2004), an adaptation of the non-fiction book Queen Bees and Wannabes by Rosalind Wiseman.
Tina Fey's Saturday Night Live accolades include 22 Primetime Emmys and other 14 wins and 105 nominations.
At this point in Tina Fey's career, she could go on and do anything she wants. That's why Tina deserves every accolade and more to come.
